Digital Problem Solving Contest - January 11, 2019

Purpose

The Psalm 15 Digital Problem Solving Contest is intended to recognize achievement in the computing and information sciences through a multi-disciplinary technology-driven approach to solving a social problem.

Rules

Teams are comprised of 3-5 girls. Presentations to judges must be in professional attire. Skillsets expected to achieve success include:

Awards will be presented in the categories of: Coding Elegance, Digital Design, Professional Presentation, Psalm 15 Computing Excellence.

Schedule

Teams must register by January 4, 2019. The competition will take place on January 11, 2019 on the Southwest Baptist University campus in Bolivar, MO. In case of weather cancellation, the competition will be rescheduled to January 18.

9-9:30 a.m. --- Team check-in
9:30-10 a.m. --- Welcome and review of rules
10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. --- Teams work on problems; box lunches available at 11:30 a.m.
1:30-3 p.m. --- Teams present to judges
3-4 p.m. --- Judging
4-4:30 p.m. --- Awards Ceremony
